Quality Care Commission inspection results

The doctors and staff at Townfield Health Centre are proud to offer the highest standard of
patient-centred healthcare.

Named GP's for all Patients

All practices are now required from 01.05.2015 to provide their patients (including children) with a named GP who will have overall responsibility for the care and support that the surgery provides to them.

All patients at Townfield Health Centre are allocated a registered GP, however you always had the option of a preference. This does not prevent you from seeing any GP in the practice as you currently do and when you need to see a GP, normal booking procedures will apply.

If you would like to know who your named GP is please feel free to ask at reception and we will be happy to inform you

Friends and Family Test

We are now offering all our patients the opportunity to take part in the Friends and Family Test. This is a feedback tool that supports the fundamental principle that people who use NHS services should have the opportunity to provide feedback on their experience that can be used to improve services. It is not a traditional survey, it is a continuous feedback loop between patients and practices. You can participate in the survey by completing a questionnaire when attending the surgery, simply ask at reception for more details.

The primary aims of the test are to gather useful feedback from people who use our services, that can be fed directly to the staff that provide their care, identify areas where improvements can be made so practical action can be taken and inform current prospective patients about the experiences of those who use our services. You do not have to complete the survey or questionnaire every time you use our services, but you are welcome to if you wish.

We will publish to results of this ongoing survey monthly, below, on our website and also on our notice boards in the waiting area.

Patient Notice. 

As from Thursday 1st October the G.P Out of Hours number '678-8498' will be replaced with the new number of: '1-1-1'. The service will still remain exactly the same.
